My name is Jennifer McGee, and I am one of the fortunate moms chosen to be in the blogging internship. I have spent the last couple of years playing on my own personal blog, facebook and twitter, but I am excited about the opportunity of learning from someone as talented as Kelly.

My life

After 15 years of marriage, I am still  madly in love with my husband, Bryan. I work one day a week as a case manager, so I can spend time with my three boys, Gabriel, Noah, and Adam. With  two in middle school it takes most of my time to help them with their homework, and I often feel like I am back in school.

My Background

In 1994, I graduated with a degree in nursing from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Ten years later I attended a year of graduate school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I was on the management career track, but realized my family was more important to me than anything else after losing a dear friend to breast cancer.

My Blogging

My husband started blogging a couple years ago and I followed. I was blogging regularly, but wasn’t sure where to take my blog and how to develop it into what I wanted it to be. I am excited for the opportunity to take blogging and networking to another level.

My Thoughts

Two years ago this Christmas, my husband gave me the best gift I have ever received, an iPhone. Learning the iPhone has been a fun journey for me and I will be sharing my thoughts and experiences with you during my internship. Some of the things I will share will help you use the iPhone to organize your life, learn another language, and pay your bills. Wouldn’t it be great if you had each family member’s calendar with you at all times?

If you have suggestions, questions or feedback I would appreciate you sharing. I look forward to hearing from you.

    Mimi,
I started with a Palm Treo. It depends on what you want in your phone.

    Nikki,
The iPhone will only work on AT&T in the US. It is rumored that Verizon may get the contract after June 2010, but a recent report is not looking favorable.
