Many Calendars In One

Juggling multiple schedules in a family can be overwhelming. There have been times when I have shown up late or missed an event all together because of calendar conflict. I have tried different ways to make this happen smoothly for my family.

One year I had a huge calendar the size of Texas on the side of the refrigerator. I placed everyones events on the calendar faithfully, for about two weeks. Another time I tried a calendar on the computer that my husband and I updated separately. This helped us out, but the problem with both of these calendars was they were not convenient and I couldn’t keep them with me.

I have found a way on the iPhone to keep multiple calendars and view them ALL. If my husband updates his calendar then it live updates on my calendar in my iPhone. The other party who you want to follow their calendar doesn’t need to have an iPhone just a Google calendar.

I use Nuevasync to keep all my calendars flowing smoothly. It is free to sign up and you can keep up to 11 calendars at one time. I don’t miss events any more.

When our kids get older, I might need the 11 calendars! Is it easy to see all of them?

Mimi, You choose which calendars you want to see at a time. You can see all the calendars at once or just one, two, etc. It has made me a sane woman.
  • This is a terrific idea! I never know when my husband's classes start or end or when he has tests. This will help so much. I've been hesitant to start using Google calendar, but if I can manage it from the iPhone, then it'll be that much easier.

    It sounds really cool.
  • Oh man, now I really AM jealous! :) Keeping track of everyone's schedule seems to be a constant source of stress around here. I have tried SO many different things and nothing perfect has surfaced yet.
  • At my mother-in-law's house they sit down every Sunday after dinner and write down what events each person has for the coming week then it's posted on the fridge. It only takes a couple minutes (and they had 4 kids living at home when I first saw this in action) and then they all know where to look. I thought it was a great idea. But not quite as cool as the iPhone :)
