Concerned your child may access something via the internet on their iPhone that may not be age appropriate? There are ways to iphone_parental_control_applimit access on the iPhone to make the experience PG. Here are a few of the options to choose from:

  • Mobicip browser works like Safari but blocks access  to Web sites containing sexually explicit material, graphic violence, Web-based chat clients, e-commerce, social networks and games.
  • I Wonder surf allows parents to block and unblock sites at their leisure. Parents can see the profiles on sites such as Myspace that their children have visited.

I think this sounds like a pretty cool app and I am glad Apple finally released it. I will have to check my iphone to see if I can find it.

That's great to know there is a program like this out there. I am not sure that I would use anything like this as my son doesn't give me any reason to be suspicious. Although I do know that some of the kids have potty mouths and I am not really crazy about that.

    a49erfangirl,
We've seen the potty mouth on text. It seems that if kids know the parents are watching the potty mouth seems to stop.

Thanks for the recommendation Jennifer! We don't have an iPhone but glad to know that there are services like this around.
