iPhone OS 3.1.1 Fresh Install
For several reasons, I have honestly managed to avoid the iphone craze that is sweeping the country. I have even been somewhat amused at the obvious iphone envy expressed by some. Since I have been researching the iphone a bit though, I am starting to understand why so many people are so impressed with it. Maybe someday I’ll be able to jump on the iphone bandwagon. By that time, there will probably be something new on the market. :)

Anyway, for you fortunate iphone users out there, I thought I would list a few of the more interesting apps I have run across lately. All of these are for the iphone but some of them have versions for other platforms as well.

One of the most exciting new apps for the iphone is Adobe Photoshop. It isn’t the full version but will allow you to do photo editing on the go and best of all, it is FREE!

Have you ever been in an unfamiliar area and your child just had to go? Well it’s Sit or Squat to the rescue! That’s right, now your iphone can tell you where the closest restroom is. This is also available via SMS so even if you don’t have an iphone, check it out.

Befree 4 iphone allows you to have remote control of your desktop PC from your iphone

For book lovers on the go, Stanza is the perfect app.  It turns your iphone into an e-book reader.

If you are a Facebook junkie, you will be thrilled to know you can now access your account anywhere and anytime on your iphone.
For students or anyone who is interested in the foundation of our country, the US Constitution is now available for you to study on your iphone.

Can you really take an x-ray with your iphone? Well, no – at least not yet. J This app might prove handy for a practical joke or two though.

I hope you enjoy these apps. What are your favorites that are a little bit out of the ordinary? Please leave a comment and share them with us. :)

Some of these apps seem really neat. Like the sit or squat that would come in handy for any phone. I wish the blackberry had adobe photo shop. I would love to edit some of my pictures on my phone.
